The police caught five people and took another thirty-one to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
One perpetrator was caught in the act of committing a crime and another three were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. One person was taken to a police station for staying illegally in the country. Six people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were two traffic accidents from which one was fatal and one resulted in serious injuries.
A 35 year old man was taken to the Biharkeresztes Border Guards for forbidden border crossing yesterday afternoon. During the identity check it turned out that the Moldavian man had no legal documents.
Two men, 25 year old and 26 year old, were caught stealing two bottles of liqueur in a store in Balmazújváros. After the security guard called the police, the two perpetrators were taken to the police station where procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of theft.
