Super moon to shine above Debrecen on Saturday

Local News

This Saturday the moon will get the closest to our planet.

This year’s biggest and brightest full moon will shine on Debrecen tomorrow. This phenomenon, also called super moon, occurs when the moon gets the closest to the Earth. This Saturday the brightness of the moon will be 16% stronger. The last time we could see a super moon was in March, 2011. On 28 November, 2012, however, the moon will move the farthest from our planet so the celestial body will look unusually small and fuzzy.
