Folk dance house is organized on International Dance Day, 29 April at Kossuth Square and Community House of Debrecen.
International Dance Day was introduced in 1982 by the International Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute and is celebrated on April 29 every year.
In 2011, the Folk Dance House Method, the Hungarian model of passing a cultural heritage from one generation to another, was added to the UNESCO’s list of best practices aimed at preserving the intangible cultural heritages of mankind.
This heritage will be presented on Monday.
