Programme:

12 Angry Men is a 1957 American drama film adapted from a teleplay of the same name by Reginald Rose. Written and co-produced by Rose himself and directed by Sidney Lumet, this trial film tells the story of a jury made up of twelve men as they deliberate the guilt or acquittal of a defendant on the basis of reasonable doubt.

Even though the case seems to be straightforward first, one of the jurors insists on going through the evidence once again just to be sure.

You know the drill: Bring along your boyfriend, girlfriend, flatmate, comissar, most and least favourite Supreme Court Justices, your non-violant pet and your non-violent grandmother. Entry is free, but make sure you bring some snacks, possibly something you can rattle with during the screening to enhance the experience.

After the screening a casual discussion is going to be held about the topics the movie touches upon.

Everyone is welcome at the event!
