Shanghai Airlines to introduce first non-stop China to Hungary flights

Shanghai Airlines, a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, will add non-stop services from Shanghai to the Hungarian capital Budapest beginning this June, giving China a direct link with the Central European country.

The three-times-weekly service will debut on 7 June 2019, served by three-class Boeing 787-9 aircraft configured with business class, premium economy and economy class seats.

Flights to Budapest will leave Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) at 0040 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and land in Budapest at 0600. The return leg is scheduled to depart from Budapest at 1230 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and arrive in Shanghai at 0450 the next day.
